I had 1200 mhz 4 gb ram kit ddr3 (2 *2) i just upgraded my pc to 8 gb 1600 mhz (4 *4) but my pc isnt giving any performance. but my boot is also like 1minute and when i open the task manager after OS is booted my hard drive shows 100% and decreasing to like 30 or 20 any solution (Mn sinhalath dannawa)

main reason of your issue is not the RAM but upgrading your ram memory is better for multitasking performance . if you need to overcome 100% usage of the hard drive you need to upgrade your boot drive with ssd its the only ways and the result is sure. 240gb or 120gb is enough . use it as your boot drive with your normal hard
