Intel Optane memory for AMD

Hi everybody,

I have a question about intel optane memory.My question is can I use an intel optane memory module for my AMD Ryzen 3 2200G CPU.I want to speed up my Seagate Sata HDD.

Yeah, kinda.

To compete with Intel optane cache, AMD released StoreMi . This is similar to intel but on intel you can only use optane memory. In AMD StoreMi you can use any SSD to speed up the hard drive and even can add 2gb of system ram to boost it further.

But according to Linustechtips testing if you use a optane ssd for StoreMi performance is super bad, therefore using a normal Samsung, Kingston ect ssd with StoreMi is much faster.

So you can boost your hard drive on a AMD system using StoreMi but always use a normal SSDs. The SSD used must be below 256gb and you need a x399 or 4xx or 5xx amd motherboard(eg-b450,x470,x570) to use StoreMi.

And also you can use other paid software like Primocache to boost a hard drive with a ssd, which works on any computer.
