i got new power supply it has 8 pin connector as shown below . i want to know the uses of this connector and the purpose of this pink wire ., this 8 pin connector is not we usually see on desktop power supply.
also this power supply fan extremely noisy like firewalls, switches fan noise in server room. and i see on outside view psu fan has 4 wires unlike 2 wires in common desktop power supply. there must be way to control this fan speed. may be with 8pin connector's pink wire. this power supply works fine in my computer. problem is noise.
i also check voltages. this pink wire with black wires has no voltages but pink wire act as a ground. and pink wire with red or yellow wire has voltage reading and pink wire with black wires has no voltage reading.

මේක මම අලුතින් ගත්ත පවර් සප්ලයි එකක් මේක සාමාන්ය විදිහට වැඩ කරනවා නමුත් ෆෑන් එක අදික වේගයෙන් කැරකැවෙනවා හරියට ෆයර්වෝල් වල ස්විචස් වල තියන ෆෑන් වගෙ. මේකෙ මට ස්පීඩ් අඩු කර ගන්න අවශ්යයි. පිටින් බැලුවම ෆෑන් එකේ වයර් 4ක් පේන්න තියනවා සාමාන්යයෙන් වයර් දෙකයි නෙ එන්නෙ. බෝහො විට ප්‍රොසෙසර් එකේ ෆෑන් එක වගෙ කන්ට්‍රොල් කරන්න ක්‍රමයක් ඇති.අනික මෙකෙ 8පින් කනෙක්ටර් එකක් තියනවා ඒකෙ සාමාන්යයෙන් එන 12වොල්ට් හා ග්‍රවුන් වයර් වලට අමතරව රතු 5වොල්ට් වයර් තියනවා සහ රොස පාට වයරයකුත් තියනවා මෙ වයරයෙ භාවිතය මොකක්ද කියල හිතාගන්න බෑ. මේ වයරය හා ග්‍රවුන් වයරය අතර වොල්ට්ටෙජ් එකක් නෑ නමුත් ග්‍රවුන්ඩ් වයර හා අනෙක් කහ, රතු වයර වලට වොල්ට්ටේජ් පෙන්නනවා වගෙ මෙ රොස වයරයටත් කහ , රතු වලට අදාල 5වොල්ට් 12වොල්ට් පෙන්නනවා එකියන්නෙ මෙ රොස වයරය ග්‍රවුන්ඩ් වයරය වගේ. මෙ ගැන අදහසක් අවශ්යයි
