When we plug electronic equipment to power plugs they only draw amount of AMPs they require.

Therefore pluging your laptop charger to a 15 amp plug doesn't cause any harm. Laptop charger will only use the amount of AMPs it requires.

Since my last battery got defected during warranty period. ( i plugged it overnight and forgot to disconnect, When i try next morning battery is dead, I asked about this problem in Hp forum they said that hp laptop has auto disconnected from power when it's full charged so plugging it overnight isn't the problem for dead battery) So im worried my  got last battery got dead because of 15amp power socket i used to charge it. Good to know that it doesn't affect battery as well. Maybe then i just had a shitty battery when i bought it. 😉🤪 Thanks you. ❤️🇱🇰

As my knowledge, the laptop battery is only working when the power is disconnected. and other times the laptop runs from the power adaptor because the laptop cannot get the maximum power to perform from the battery. So that we always recommend to use the laptop while charging. in my personal use, most of the time my laptop is connected to the power adaptor. if it's working or not,

When considering the 15Amp issue. as @gadgets said when the power socket rated as 15Amps it tells it can deliver a maximum of 15Amps of current from that socket. but it not tells it always delivering 15Amps. and the power adaptor only gets the amount it needs. So it cannot harm your laptop. (at my university we are using a 15Amp power socket to charge laptops no harm was detected yet )

Since there is no issue with your handling. I hope your cost was covered by the warranty.

Yes, covered by the warranty (battery got dead just 15 days before warranty expires) . Thanks Both. 😃👍
