Laptop type:- ASUS X512FJ, i5 - 8265U, MX230 (2GB), 8GB RAM , Win 10 PRO

When I run a graphic consumed software or a game the GPU clock is not increasing.  the base clock is 1519MHz. But when opening such a software the clock is about 139MHz. As well as the CPU clock is not increasing with its relevant TDP. The data was observed using MSI afterbuner. I bought laptop in 2019 and also warranty has remained. I also reinstalled the windows but there was no change.  As a example I played AC odyssey in 2019 in custom setting with about 25 -30 FPS. But no the same game can't be get 15 FPS even lowest settings. All the drivers were updated with latest driver versions.  Can you suggest any solution for me?

Are you sure the game/software was running on nvida graphics and not on intel graphics, you can change this via Nvidia control panel.

This may be due to a thermal/cooling issue, what was the CPU & GPU temperature observed during gaming. And was the cooling fan spinning properly?

Also try changing windows power plans in control panel if possible.

I did all these things but sadly it was not worked. But currently the cooling fan not speed up for high performance.

Then it must be the faulty cooling fan causing the system to thermal throttle leading to lower performance. Contact your relevant computer shop/repair center to get the fan replaced.
