X570 is needed if you require multiple pcie gen4 device and alot of connectivity/expansion options.
B550 provides a great value with pcie gen4 for one 16x & m.2 slot and connectivity/expansion sufficient for most PC users.
Therefore go with B550 motherboard and allocate the budget to other components of the PC.
