I have core i3 6100 processor with asrock k6 mother board. whats is the maximum buss speed for RAM ?
Official maximum ram speed supported for i3 6100 is
- 1600mhz for DDR3
- 2133mhz for DDR4
Since your motherboard is either Asrock Z170 K6 or Asrok Z270 K6, you should use DDR4 ram.

Yeah you can use 2666mhz ram (since your motherboard is Z-series), you will gain a slight performance increase compared to 2133mhz ram.
Remember to go into your motherboard bios and enable XMP profile 1 after installing the ram. If not the ram will run at 2133mhz default speed.
*your motherboard can support upto 3866mhz but using very high speed memory with a i3-6100 is useless.
