Pentium කියන්නේ Intel ලා 1993 ඉදන් පාවිච්චි කරන brand name එකක්. දැන් 2019 යෙදී pentium කියන්නේ core i3 වලට වඩා performance අඩු, intel celeron වලට වඩා performance වැඩි cpu වලට. සරලව කීවොත් i3 සහ celeron අතර තියෙන්නේ pentium cpu.

දැන් තියෙන pentium ඔකොම 2-core 4-thread cpu, හොඳම pentium G5620 එකෙ turbo speed එක 4ghz, L3 cahce එක 4mb සහ intel UHD 630 graphic එනවා. මෙවා intel 8th generation cpu නිසා  H310, B360 වගෙ motherboard සහ DDR4 ram ඔනි.

මෙවා gaming වලට ගැලපෙන්නේ නැ, දැන් අලුත් games ඔකොම වගෙ 4/6 core cpu වලට හදලා තියෙන්නේ. Office, school, homes පාවිච්චියට නම් අවුලක් නැ.
