this is 4th gen motherboard, , now a days you cant get new z87 chipset motherboard. only h81 is available new. are you using 4 ram sticks ??

Yes it's a 4th gen, z87 chipset motherboard. At the moment I am using only 2 slots. 16GB Kit (2x8GB) DDR3. I have an idea of upgrading the RAM in future to go for 32GB. So I will be using all 4 slots in future. The only upgrades I will go for will be GPU and RAM.

did you reset the bios??? i meanzdis you try to clear the cmos ??? which version bios did you flash.
if your motherboard give you continues 3 beeps, thats regarding ram issue, the bios is working. you just remove the processor carefully and clean its back contacts pads. check for bent pins in mother board, is good if you check the mother board with another processor i3 or 4th gen dual core.
I tried with the jumper, followed the instructions came with the motherboard. unmounted the CMOS battery and kept it for days actually. Nothing works for me. An error code shows as "ddfe" in the led number panel in the motherboard. I tried to find about the code but still no luck at all. I tried to find why 3 beeps. I will attach what I found so far, mentioned timing is perfectly correct. This is the exact issue I have.

I updated to the latest and the last version 0459. from 0359 as I can remember.

yeh you have to go to a computer repairing shop and check the processor and motherboard seperately,
are you getting 3 short beeps or 3 long beeps??
Sure, I will go to check separately.
3 long beeps. 1 beep sounds for about 1 second. a very short pause, then another beep like wise. after 3 long beeps, a short pause for about 2 seconds. then starts to beep again for 3 times.
i think may be issue with the processor. its good if you check the processor

Hi! I went and checked the Processor and RAMs separately with the help of a computer shop. They all work great! The problem is with the Bios Chip. I will have to give it to repair. In the meantime, I am planning to buy a second hand motherboard for my PC.
Can any one please recommend a decent motherboard to choose?
